I've never had a one-on-one lesson with Leadbetter, but that being said I don't think he is worth a $10,000 fee (if that is really how much he charges

Based on the magazine articles, books, and dvds he has done in the last few years it seems the quality of his instruction has decreased significantly since the time he worked with Nick Faldo. I've also got the distinct impression that many of his students (including pros like Faldo, Norman, Els, Howell, Price, and others) spent more time working with his assistants then they did with him.
If you send a copy of your swing to the Golf Channel's the
Turn you could get a free video lesson from him. Its not the same as a live one-on-one lesson for a day, but it may provide you with some of the same advice for free.
