How The Right Arm Hammer Drill Can Help You Now!

I'll try it :)
I think if you can go from the top of swing position to a good P6 ... your swing will be good.
The key part is getting there.

Is it possible that the left arm does generate power ?
At the cost of inconsistency ?

Understanding Golf - How to use the Right Arm correctly

I like this tip as well.

He makes a good point about the tip: "Keep your right elbow close to the body".
Useless tip !

Wrist hinge - Ernie Els early, Tiger Woods late.

Over The Top Golf Swing Cure - Part 2 : The Secret Golf Swing Move

See the video here:
http://consistentgolf.com/blog/the-secret-golf-swing-move/

Major reasons for "Over the Top"

(1) make sure weight is evenly distributed at address.
(2) make sure your shoulders and hips and knees are parallel to the target line.
(3) Avoid the inside takeaway.
(4) Make sure at P3 the butt of the club is pointing inside or at the golfball.
(5) at 5:45 he talks about a Magical wrist turn at the top where the club flattens out. Hmmm.

Proper Spine Tilt Angle
"Take a heavy hammer and hammer through the nail"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH-e0WvxwPI

"To Control over swinging".
(1) Maintain Spine angle angled away from the ball.
(2) You are not trying to go up with the arms, you are trying to go wide with arms (Keep the Width in the arms) *I needed this*.

This thread is about fixing an Over the Top Golf Swing.

Assuming, you don't pull the club inside too much on the takeaway which so many people do, this assumes you got to the top of the swing in a reasonable (P4) position.

Still lots can go wrong.

The best progress I have made in my golf swing so far was learning the simple fact that the best trigger to start the downswing is a lateral move with the hips.

Please see this thread here for more details.

This tip about making sure that front shoulder travels upwards helps me.
