Hi all

I'm Nick, a 34 year old Professional Golfer originally from the UK. I grew up on the Wirral (not too far from Hoylake) and moved out here to Kuala Lumpur just under a year ago. Relocating to Malaysia has given me the chance to re-ignite my love for golf and I am currently practicing hard with the view of attending Asian Tour School at the end of this year.

Whilst in the UK I was a Teaching Pro for the last 10 years or so. I stumbled across this website looking for some online software to look at my own swing videos but whilst I'm here I'd be happy to cast an eye over a few others too.

Be warned! I have a very different view on what it takes to get better at golf. Unfortunately, for years and years I taught hundreds of golfers with swings that were much better than their scores, golfers that were sure that straightening their left arm or driving their hips etc would be the secret to better golf. I strongly believe that the correct type of practice and an improved short game is the real secret for almost all golfers.

Anyway, enough of that, I'll hopefully get chance to share my thoughts with anyone willing to listen and those that genuinely want to improve their scoring and enjoyment of the game rather than just how 'pretty' their swing looks.

I'm interested.

I am trying to learn about the short game, as well as lining up some ways to practice.
