We have been working very hard to bring you our latest incarnation of SwingAcademy.

We hope you find the improvements to the technology and process to be of great use to you no matter your reason for using this site.

Please use this forum as a place to ask questions as to how to use the new site and to report any problems that you may encounter.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Wow...what s surprise....this looks great...love the new website....! I like the fact you can just leave comments rather then a full analysis now. I haven't checked out all the new features and such but what I'm seeing now is very impressive I have to say..! Keep up the good work.

Very nice additions. I like most of the new features, some require a bit more effort to use, but I'll get used to it.

For some reason, when I check my profile, I can't see my swings.

Profile is slated for a complete overhaul.

Refresh the page and your swings should appear.. something about the query timing out in flash.

The new site is fantastic Rick is there anyway to change the colours of the drawing tools or does everything have to be red.?

Thanks for the compliment.. we have been working hard.

When creating an analysis you now have a full palette of colors from which to choose. You can also set the size of the lines that you draw. Click on the controls indicated by the image below to experiment.

However, on the tools tab, there are what we call "Quick Draw Tools" which can be used to simply mark up the vide as you are watching it but do not save.. and these draw tools do not have their own color picker or line size picker..

But I'll let you in on a secret, these will respect the last chosen color and size in the analysis tab.. so if it's critical for you to be able to change the color, you can either start an analysis and set the color then exit and go to the Quick Draw Tools.. of just do your work while in the analysis.

I just confused myself with that last paragraph.. so I can understand if you are also confused.

Thanks Rick thats great I only really need the colours when doing the full analysis (hopefully I can remember what each line is when Im drawing them!) I'd only played around with the quick draw tools time to try a full anlaysis I think.

Thanks again I'll be recommending the site to my students.

Rick I've tried the full analysis and its great. However when I have published the analysis and then view it, it only shows me the first frame. I need to come completely out of that persons video and then go back in before I can see all of the frames.

Ok I will look into that.. I have noticed a couple of hiccups in the analysis tool.

Thanks
