Hey Everyone...I'm new to this site but a friend of mine (Blake Burleson) thought I should come by and give some insight. I work at a local golf shop that Blake frequents and we got to talking about golf swing theories and I discovered that we thought along the same lines, but he was much more advanced than myself. Now, I'm not a pro, and quite frankly, I think people get too wrapped up in the pro versus everyone else in the golfing world. I was a 3 handicap golfer before meeting Blake, and after BUYING and reading his book and being lucky enough to speak to the man at least a few days a week, I have to say that I'm a believer in him and his skill. I have NEVER hit a golf ball as well as I do now and I believe that is due to Blake's insight. To all of his critics, I really must suggest that you actually listen to him with an open mind. His swing ideas are not really extreme or revolutionary, but actually get you thinking from a different perspective. So, go ahead and spend a few dollars on his book and read it with an open mind, instead of thinking that you have every answer about the golf swing. No one will ever figure this game out and I think by listening to other views on the swing and incorporating the ideas that work for you into your swing, you can only become a better golfer. After all, that's exactly what Ben Hogan did.
