This is a swing I have been developing for a long time, and the distances I'm getting with it lately, after a several year lay off, are literally blowing my mind. The only action I am making in the swing are to rotate my "glued" armpits, and keep a stable triangle of the arms and shoulders intact. I do not rotate the forearms, and you will note my hands are square to their arc of travel. My hands do not open in order to get the shaft pointing at the ball at the top, which I believe is a false image of the swing plane. It requires opening the hands to their arc. My emphasis is to swing the triangle on it's true plane, and allow club momentum to hinge and unhinge the hands. I do this by keeping the elbows relative to one another, and relative to the torso. I do nothing else actively with the arms and hands. I'm 6'3", 65 yrs of age. Comments and critique are welcome.
